Spring Break 2016!!!!! Vegas or BUST!

Kid on Christmas morning.... I got into the NYC Marathon again!!!!! I'm so EXCITED!!!

We had such a fun Spring Break this year!!!!  We usually don't really plan anything because Rob works that week so we have better chances of getting other times off.  Anyway, we ended up getting away on a date night to Vegas with just him and I.... When he went back to work the girls and I went and did lots of things with the cousins.  We went and seen Zootopia and decided last minute to do an overnighter with all the girlies to Vegas.  We hit up the Childrens museum, Cheesecake Factory, stayed at the Mandalay Bay and used there super cool pool and went to the Shark Reef.  We met up with more cousins at the Cheesecake Factory.   The girls are going to remember this trip forever!  We had so much fun!  Despite being surrounded by a super excited girl mob.... it was actually very very relaxing.  Yes.... I said relaxing.... There is something wonderful about having no plans and just kind of rolling with it.  Aunt Gloriana is super easy going, so we had a BLAST just doing whatever we felt like at the time.  YAY us and YAY memories!  Now that we know how much fun it is we are going to do girl trips more often!  BTW.... These girls are pros at pictures.... hahahahahaha!

A Little Hernia Surgery....

My little "happy go lucky" had a hernia repair surgery on Friday and did so good... She was born with an umbilical hernia.  I have to say that I was so nervous.  It was just me and her... Rob had to get the girls off to school.  I was trying so hard to hold back the tears because I didn't want her to be scared.  The minute they took her back and I had to go out to the waiting room I lost it.  She is my little "happy go lucky"!  She brings so much joy into our lives... She is seriously the happiest little person I know.  After I gave the girls a bath that night I turned around to Kevyn in her little get up... She is so funny!  Anyway, I made them a nest in my room so they could watch The Good Dinosaur.  You would never even know that Kevyn had surgery... She has not complained about it once.  Grown ups are total wimps!  Kids Rock!  This little mini of mine is TOUGH AS NAILS!
