Random Phone Pics... What We've been UP To!

So we've just been staying super busy!  Aunt Gloriana had a garage sale to raise money for the Relay for Life in honor of my Dad!  The cutest little mob of girls sold lots of cupcakes for the GREAT cause.  After the garage sale we decided to run over to our cousin Britton's coming home party.  Talk about WOW!  Pretty freaking cool that he is finally home with his family.... He still has along way to go but he has made some serious progress... I am so happy for and humbled by their family!!!! And of course the girls were super excited to see Autumn their babysitter.
April 13 marks the one year anniversary that my Dad passed away... Kind of a rough week... This picture was taken of me and my parents when I was dating Rob.  We must have been laughing at something pretty dang funny because the smile on my face is HUGE!  Man o man I miss that Dad of mine.  So happy and blessed to have him watching over us everyday... and his loving memory.  I think about him A LOT!
Anyway... of course we've been swimming a lot!  The glamour shots... ha ha ha ha.  Crazy neighbor down the street is a photographer and has been bugging me for 2 years to let her do some lighting test pictures on me.  I did it so she would quit bugging me... I snapped these pictures when I ran out the door because I thought my hair turned out kind a cute... It's supposed to be 1940's... LOL!  Lame!

Easter Weekend!

What a fun filled Easter weekend we've had so far!  We started with dying eggs on Friday.  We hit the Easter egg hunt at the park Saturday morning and met up with cousins!  After the egg hunt we were able to go to the Art Festival and ride the carousel and have old fashioned sodas.... After the art festival we went home and went swimming!  Later on we had some neighbors come over for a little bit.... by the end of the day we were exhausted!
The girls woke up way earlier than the chickens today.... yeah, no bueno for me.  Anyway, they were super excited to see what the Easter bunny left behind.  They went on a scavenger hunt the Easter Bunny left for them and went on an  Easter egg hunt in the yard.  Afterwards we got ready and went to Easter services at Tuachan with Grandma and got to listen a wonderful message about our Savior Jesus Christ his atoning sacrifice and the resurrection..... What a glorious day!  The only downside of the weekend so far is that poor Rob has been working....  We miss him so much!  Happy Easter!
