Happy Birthday Lenni! 6 Years Old!

Happy Birthday Lenni!  I'm a little bummed I didn't get this posted on her actual day... but we were able to have cake and ice cream again!  This little monkey is my most sensitive child... She loves hugs and she loves to cuddle.  I couldn't be more proud of her!  She is doing so great in school, dancing, gymnastics and piano.  She is a natural little athlete... things come pretty easy for her.  She is  49 inches tall... She is going to be a tall one!  She is 2inches taller than Charley was when she turned 6.  Anyway, I could brag about my little ones all day long... I just want Lenni to know how much I love her!  I always say.... You are my most favorite middle child in the universe!  Lenni... Thank you for being you!  You are such a blessing and I love every single solitary little thing about you with every fiber of my being.  I LOVE YOU ALL THE TIME!  FOREVER and ALWAYS!  XOXO!

Lenni's One in a Minion Birthday Party! Its All About the Minions!

Minion Fun at Fiesta Fun!  Lenni's party was a total hit!  We had so much fun... We had a total of 23 kids.  It was a little crazy but we like crazy.  The kids had so much fun playing the arcade games, and playing mini golf.  I can't believe she is going to be 6.... I wanna cry right now!  We are going to have cake again on her actual day.... Yah!

A Few Cute Pictures! I Voted!

For some reason Kevyn needed her goggles to watch TV!

Our good friend is running for City Council so we had to go vote for him... Go Troy Belliston!

Back to School! WaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaH!

Charley and Lenni's first day.... 1st and 2nd grade!

Kevyn's first day of second year in Preschool...

Okay.... So I am one of those moms that love, love, love having my girlies home with me.  We did a lot of activities and traveled a lot this summer and I have to say that we had a blast.  We left the last couple of weeks to just be complete lazies and it was really nice.  Staying up late and sleeping in has its perks!  I was not looking forward to starting school at all!  In fact I was completely dreading it.  I guess it made it a little easier to see them excited to see their friends again.  I got a little teary eyed when I dropped my little sidekick off at preschool... Thank goodness she's only gone a couple of hours.  I am soaking up as much of these stages of their lives as much as I can.  I read an article that a mom shared the other day about her trying to remember the last time she washed her daughters hair... She said that it was just one day that her daughter didn't need her to do it anymore and it made her sad that she didn't appreciate it more during the moments that her little one needed her.  Wouldn't it be so wonderful to be able to live in the moment... be completely present... and have gratitude for the things that are happening right now!  In this moment!  I want to soak up every second I can with these little lovies of mine because I know it won't last as long!  For example... for some reason Kevyn refuses to put her shoes on the right feet.  I just laugh... seriously... 95% of the time her shoes are on the wrong foot.... and you know what?  Most of the time I just roll with it and so does she.  I will be sad when she quits doing it.... It's just her little personality!  I absolutely adore it!  Anyway, its a lesson that we all can try to do better... BE PRESENT!  Its a GIFT!  Love love love my little minis!

Summer Randomness!

Took the girls to get their hair trimmed for school!  I would totally do it myself, but they love love love getting pampered.  It makes them feel pretty dang special... It is so funny to watch them!  Can't get any cuter!

Ruthie came to visit us!  I can't believe how long me and this chica have been friends!  We will always be friends... I love her to death!  I love having a friend that I can totally be myself with.  Nothing like laughing our butts off... Just wish she didn't move so far away!
Lunch with the cousins!  We survived with the mod squad... Wish I would have gotten a better picture!  Cousins for life!

Parowan City Yankee Meadow Half Marathon!

I did this half marathon on a whim... and I 'm sooo glad I did.  I drove to Parowan the morning of by myself.  By far it is my favorite course in Southern Utah.  Be a-U-ti-FUL!  It started at Yankee Meadow Reservoir and ended at the Parowan fair grounds.  There was just under 650 runners. I ran it in 1:34 (same as the Bryce Half) and got 3rd in my age group.  It's just what the doctor ordered.... I find running so theraputic.   It was nice to get away with just me, myself, and I.  Yah Hoo!  I lOvE RuNNinG!
