Washington DogTown Half Marathon! Woot Woot.... Representing!

I ran the Washington DogTown Half Marathon last weekend!!!  I'm so glad I did, because I almost backed out.  I had a pretty bad head cold and wasn't feeling it at all.  I ended up beating my own personal record and getting FIRST (yes I said FIRST) in my age group.... 1:37.  Cool huh?  My cousin Cami, some of her friends and I all wore the #7 in honor of our dear sweet cousin Sommer's son Britton who was in a bad accident and trying to recover.  The last half marathon I ran was the same day of his accident so I was pretty stoked that I was able to beat that time.   I have to say that I loved loved loved the course.  Who knew that the path that we went on existed.... absolutely beautiful!  Rob had to work and the kids stayed with Grandma so I was completely solo!  I had a blast!
