Weekend in Las Vegas!

We decided to spend the weekend in Las Vegas at our favorite hotel the "JW Marriott". We spent all day Saturday hanging out at the pool and Charley had a blast. Talk about a fish.... she spent the whole day in the water. The next day we went to meet up with Rob's brother Chris and his wife Terry. They were in town for Chris's birthday. Good times....

24th of July fun!

Yesterday was Pioneer Day in Utah and Rob was off of work so we got to go celebrate.  We took Charley to the parade and the park.  We tried to get Charley to run in the races again but she wasn't really interested.  I couldn't get her attention because of all the things going on around her. It was so cute to watch her and her cousin Gracie running around like maniacs.  We had so much fun.  Sorry.... no pics..... I had my camera but the battery was dead!

Fun at the LAKE!

Today we went to the lake to try and cool off!  It was 110 degrees..... HOT!  Rob's cousin Caroline is in town to job shadow him for awhile because she is going to medical school.  She came with us to the lake and got to learn how to wakeboard.  Cowabunga!!!   It took her awhile to get a hang of it but she got up and we were all so excited!  Charley was a little angel the whole day even though she didn't get a nap.  She loves to hang out in the boat and has even grown to like her life vest... pheewwy!  

I have to say that Charley is the best thing ever!!!!  We love her sooooo much!  Rob and I were just sitting here talking about all of the little things about her that we are going to miss as she gets older.  We already miss her little crawl because she is walking now.  She has the cutest little wave, and she is really starting to talk a lot more.  Her most favorite things to say are "oh oh", when she drops something...."whats that?  and "all gone".  I can't believe that she is all ready almost 18 months and we are awaiting the arrival of another precious baby girl.  Children make life so much more meaningful and we are loving every minute that we get to spend with her! Anyway, that is my post..... sorry no pictures.  I just really wanted to share our day.

4th of July!

On the 4th of July my mom and I took Charley to the park to participate in the races. Ha ha ha..... We tried to get Charley to run, but she just stood there and watched the other kids. She probably would have done much better if we would have practiced. Later that afternoon we had a BBQ, and let Charley play in the kiddie pool.

Grandma's New Pool!

Grandma got a new pool for the girls to play in when they visit! They had so much fun getting in and out of the pool!
